Poshmama Article Fall means spice!

Fall is here & it’s time to switch out your summer wardrobe with you fall & winter one. This is the time to look through what you have & see what you need to spice up your existing wardrobe. With today’s economy, purchasing a whole new wardrobe isn’t in the cards, however picking up some new & trendy accessories is definitely an option! So why not shop Handmade?!

Here are a few fun finds to help you spice up your wardrobe!

The Artist of pirilamporiscado.etsy.com makes some of the most beautiful & unique necklaces I have ever seen. What a find this shop has been! Hand treated felted wool has been transformed into amazing accessories that brighten up any outfit. Hand felting is such a skill – it requires patience and precision.

This soft necklace (Necklace .099) is a prefect example of both! Made of pure merino wool this piece has 22 hand felted beads (6 small + 8 medium + 8 large) with the predominant colors being brown, blue, beige and deep red. Perfect for fall!

The Ice Blue Nuno Scarf by FeltInspired's shop is absolutely breathtaking! This piece is a blend of silk and merino fibers and was applied onto magenta silk chiffon with a subtle tone-on-tone swirl in this hand felted scarf.

Scarves are such an amazing accent piece – they can work as warmth & style with a coat or as a decorative accent to a sweater or top. I love mixing a decorative scarf with a plain top to add pizazz! The colors in this scarf are so soothing and crisp; they would spice up jeans or add flair to a suit. Beautiful!

I close out with an artist true to my heart – suffering from a passion I too have – the obsession & love of fabric! http://en.dawanda.com/shop/cottonpurr (aka JoJo) designs, sews & assembles all of her pieces and her photo’s are taken by her dear husband – talk about a love of the Handmade Community!

This wristlet/ purse, holds all your major needs – money, lipstick, cell & more!

The measurements are 10.5" x 5.75 with a 12" strap. Interfacing has been used for extra strength & durability. * Flower pin is removable!
